FETZER ADVISORY COUNCILS

The Fetzer Advisory Councils will help broaden the Institute’s reach to a more global scale, foster greater awareness of the power of love and forgiveness in our world, and inform strategies for the Fetzer Institute’s future work. Each of the 16 advisory councils consists of approximately 14 members who are experienced and emerging leaders conducting practical work within their sector. Advisors from these sectors will work together to contribute to a catalogue of concrete examples of love and forgiveness in action and to further nominate some of these examples for new budgetary support.

Another primary task for the advisory councils will be to prepare for a city-wide conference in Assisi, Italy, September 19-23, 2012. This Global Gathering will offer an opportunity for our advisors and other leaders to convene and design strategies for multi-disciplinary projects and further work for the Fetzer Institute. The conference will offer private and public sessions; more details will be available on this website in fall 2011.
