“Did you know that a heart cell, when it’s separated from other heart cells, will start fibrillating and die and if you put it back together with that heart cell, it will come back to life?” Eva Selhub, M.D., author of The Love Response, asks in an interview with Regina Meredith on the Conscious Media Network. It’s an interesting interview that covers Dr. Selhub’s journey from being a resident in the intensive care unit at Boston City Hospital in 1996. It was at that time that she was infected with HIV and hepatitis C by a needle stick. That incident was the first in a series of events that caused her to question the trajectory of her life and her chosen profession.
