Text messages, voice mail, e-mail…junk mail. Why not take a break from the information deluge, slow down, and write a note to someone you care about? Remember what a great feeling it is to receive a handwritten letter. A carefully written note, no matter the length, may deepen, renew, or mend relationships…and may make someone’s day! Take a moment to express your thanks for a kindness, tell someone how you miss or love them, or share a memory or story that is special to you.

If you need a jump start, use these tips from Lilia Fallgatter, author of The Most Important Letter You Will Ever Write, and Paper Source.

For more inspiration read some student letters expressing love to important people in their lives.

A letter written from the heart can become a thoughtful practice that helps you stay connected—or reconnects you—with cherished friends and family. We invite you to download campaign stationary to get you started.
