The Power of Forgiveness |
| This documentary combines
character-driven stories about the most dramatic
transgressions imaginable with those that seem more
commonplace. It examines the role that forgiveness
can play in alleviating anger and grief, and the
physical, mental, and spiritual benefits that come
with forgiveness. It also considers what many of the
world’s religions teach about forgiveness. Produced
by Journey Films, whose documentary BONHOEFFER,
received wide critical acclaim, The Power of
Forgiveness is the second film of three in the
Campaign for Love & Forgiveness. A late 2007 / early
2008 PBS broadcast is anticipated.

Unforgivable? |
| Unforgivable? will explore
the question, “Is there any act or atrocity
committed against another human being that rises to
such a level that it cannot be forgiven?” The
documentary’s dramatic and moving stories introduce
real people who have faced a horrific tragedy and
have struggled to find it in their hearts to
forgive. Produced by Paul Dietrich and Helen
Whitney, producer of the FRONTLINE-American
Experience co-production The Mormons.
Unforgivable? is the final film in the Campaign
for Love & Forgiveness. |
